Stina Persson

I've been away a while, been very busy with best friend getting married, good friend diving in the olympic trials, cousin's birthday....everyone has something going on but me it seems.

I wanted to share an artist I found in my book, The Age of Feminine Drawing. I picked it up at Urban Outfitters in the sale section about 2 months ago. I had been eyeing it the last time I was there so when I went back and it was still available I grabbed before it was too late.

There's tons of artists and drawings I love in this book but one artist that has really caught my eye is Stina Persson.

Last night I was flipping through old magazines when I noticed the packaging of some beauty products that looked familar. Today I looked them up and sure enough it's Stina's artwork. The brand is Face Boutique.

The products are chemical free. I'd love to buy some and try them out. If nothing else I'd have a beautiful tube/bottle to display. You can purchase Face Boutique in the USA at SpaceNK online.

Bailey Doesn't Bark

I found this unique dishware on trunkt.org, which is a type of website like, etsy.com,for crafters to sell their products.

I don't know much about the artist except that it's a female.

I love how a lot of her designs flow from one piece to the next or even flow onto the bottom and back around to the other side.

check out the rest of the dishware at trunkt.org

Stella Im Hultberg

I have admired this artist for almost 2 years now. I don't think I need to really talk her up; her art speaks for itself. It's beautifully amazing! I really hope to own one of her pieces some day soon.

Made by Girl

I figured I should start my first blog on the person/blog that inspired me to finally create one.

Jennifer Ramos of Made by Girl.

I love her designs.

What's also really cool about her cards is that they are all printed on recycled or post consumer paper. Plus she donates a portion of sales to stopglobalwarming.org

Check out all of her cards at madebygirl.com or her blog at madebygirl.blogspot.com

I really want to buy that last card for Jayme at work. I'll get around to it.

The following posts with be pictures and websites of other people/companies/things that inspire me. Hopefully soon to follow with be my online line of greeting cards.
